A Show Full of Lies

Theatre helping students learn English.jpg

A Show Full of Lies is an entertaining look at the role that lying plays in human interactions. The show starts with a game where the audience have to guess who is lying and then another game where they get to lie themselves. The show also features different stories where characters are lying and the audience have to think what they would do themselves in those situations.

So, the show is mostly light and a lot of fun. However, without naming names or having any political agenda, the show does also look at the question of how companies, politicians and the media can use lies for the purposes of manipulation. We hope that the themes of this show will not stay in the theatre, but that they will stimulate lively discussions back in the classroom.
