This story of Ebeneezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas has had a great effect on people since the day it was published. It is now a classic in all the English-speaking countries.

The Bear Educational Theatre has simplified the text to make the old language accessible to non-native speakers. However, a lot of trouble has been taken to stay as close as possible to the original story and convey Dicken's original message.

A Christmas Carol is a story of transformation and forgiveness and looks at the topic of what it means to live a good life. It is more than a fairy tale, it has a message that is endlessly powerful and relevent to us today.

God bless us, every one!
